Jagath has had working experience in the Telecommunication Services sector for  almost 14 years out of 20 years exposure working in the private sector. He has had exposure at Billing & Collection, Customer Care & Human Resources departments and held managerial positions at every department he worked.

His natural ability to motivate and inspire has won many a hearts wherever he delivered training sessions. Jagath has designed and delivered over 500 programs on Customer Service, Motivational, Team Building and Leadership Development among private and public sector institutions in Sri Lanka and abroad. He carries a wealth of knowledge on various other subject areas and he possesses an exceptional communication and presentation skills.

He holds an MBA in addition to that he has completed a Certificate in Marketing & Advance Certificate in Marketing conducted by the Chartered Institute of Marketing U.K. He has successfully completed The Competent Coach and The Coach Practitioner Training Programs conducted by Global Coach Trust of India. Further he has completed the course requirements for The Professional Coaching Program Certificate on 29 April, 2012 and has accrued 60 Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours in accordance with the International Coach Federation Accredited program requirements. He is Certified 5 S Trainer where his certification came from Jasteca Sri Lanka & he had delivered training & consultancies on Productivity Improvement too.

He has attended a Middle Management Programme of the 3-Tier Programme for Management Development held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India. Further he has received Project Management and Talent Management training sessions conducted by the Singapore Institute of Management both locally and abroad. He has attended a Train the Outbound Trainer(TOT) program in Mumbai to sharpen his skills on Team Building & Leadership Development. He has completed a Professional Advanced Diploma in Business Management awarded by EIPEL Campus registered under the Tertiary and Vocational Training Commission of Sri Lanka.

Jagath has attended many training sessions and work shops on Customer Care, Personal Grooming, and Service Excellence and on Outward Bound Training. He is a  member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Training & Development and Alumni member of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India.
